Thank goodness, just in time, finally the spectacular starry dynamo Aliza posted on her web site a bunch of new pix from various events over the summer. They reminded of times being fun and fabulous. So thank you, thank you, love!!!!!!

These pix come mostly from three different events: the superhuge review show Aliza produced at the Milky Way in JP (whose theme was basically big women’s performance), a regular TraniWreck show, and the elaborate TraniWreck birthday bash (me in the red wig).

Try to run, try to hide, but there’s really nothing you can do . . . .

. . . cuz there’s a Big [crash, bang] Gi-i-i-i-i-i-rl comin’ for you!

You can so totally see the penis of Nate, the vocalist for Cassette, just right out there flopping around!

This is Olivia. Last winter I met her at a party. We were standing by the refrigerator. She asked me if she could make out with me. I think she suspected her chances were good cuz she’d already seen her friend B have considerable success using that line on me. Frankly, it’s hard to imagine circumstances under which I’d say no (eh, hem). Especially when someone asks so nicely. It seems like we made out forever. And then we didn’t really talk to each other for the rest of the party. My knees were kinda weak. Eventually, I passed out on the couch. And I didn’t see her for like six months.

The Phat Fly Girls HipHop Gang
That’s Olivia, upper left, and my wonderful volunteer coordinator at Pathways, Keku’i, on the lower right. I don’t know the names of the others.

Systyr Act are totally the best!!! That’s Travis on guitar, Greg in the middle, and Tam up close. They’re doing “Don’t Fear the Reaper.”

Greg and Olivia being seductive

Jillian, whose stage name is Revo Lution, provides irrefutable proof that you can totally hula hoop and strip at the same time. It turns out, I find out months later, that Jillian had met and been making out with B. and Olivia at that same party that I had! It’s so Alice’s chart on the L-word.

Dar (my nextdoor neighbor, whom I dragged along), Greg (the Haiku King), Mika. Dar won a date with Greg in a raffle, and she keeps telling him, “You are mine, honey! Bought and paid for!”

Dar, Greg, Mika. Dar is holding a redoubtable lesbian fizz.

I don’t remember these guys’ names, but they asked me to pose with them, and they seemed totally sweet

The fabulous Heather McCallister, leader of San Francisco’s Fat-Bottom Revue. Her stage name is Reva Lucian. Fortunately, she and Jillian were performing on separate nights. We went out to the South Street Diner with her afterwards.

The TraniWreck cast takes birthday bows

Donita Roxx and the Coxx!

I met Michelle on OKCupid. We went & had coffee & hit it off so well, she brought me right home to meet her fiancé, who’s totally cool and sweet, and her cats (ditto), and her books (ditto). I told them (the humans) they had to come to TraniWreck the following Monday, even though they were getting married over the weekend. They came & are now totally part of the gang. Here she is getting tousled by Donita Roxx. That night she also won dinner from Heywood in an auction.

Heywood and Rainbow Frite do a duet of Paul Anka’s “Having my Baby.”

Rainbow then follows up with “Papa Don’t Preach”

Heywood & the gorgeous boi Chris from Atlanta, who everyone wishes would move up here . . . .
